I currently work across two lines of organizing. The first is anti-militarist in nature. It pertains to the expansion of the EU and Italian military-industrial complex, encompassing also a focus on its relationship with the University sector. On this theme, I had the privilege of working with students across Italy (Cambiare Rotta, Collettivo Autorganizzato Universitario, students for Palestine, and many others), as well as with Potere al Popolo (of which I am part), the Osservatorio Contro la Militarizzazione delle Scuole e delle Universitá, dock workers and workers of the logistics across Italy, the USB union (of which I am a member) and more.
The second pivots on Frontex, the racialised border regime in Europe and the role of Universities in sustaining both. Here I have done work again with students, Abolish Frontex, the Transnational Institute and various local groups working on migration and bordering in Italy.
In the past, I have worked mainly on housing justice, especially in Romania, in particular with the Frontul Comun Pentru Drept la Locuire (Common Front for Housing Rights). The work on the Radical Housing Journal, which I co-founded, was conducted in dialogue with housing organizers within and beyond Europe. Housing justice is something that I continue to be interested in, in the context of the city of Naples in Italy, in particular with my comrades of the Comitato di Lotta Ex-Taverna del Ferro (Barra-Ponticelli).
Below you can find a list of posts taken from my blog relating to some of the individual and collective actions pertaining to these struggles.
